Our Respite Care

Respite, or short stay care, is provided for those residents who do not require longer term care. A short term stay may be needed for a period of convalescence after an operation, accident or illness, or because the resident’s usual carer is on holiday or a short break. It is not unusual for short stays to be repeated, and often our respite residents decide to stay for the longer term once they have experienced life through our care services.

Our approach to respite care is as rigorous as for our longer term residents. Each respite resident receives the same high standards of care as our longer term residents and can also take advantage of the many benefits of living at a Yanicare, namely our exceptional facilities, menus, activities and entertainment, and, of course, the opportunity to make new friends.
